Sue Counsell, LLB (Hons) FPFS

Sue is based in Preston for One Four Nine Wealth. With a career spanning over 40 years, Sue brings a wealth of experience, in providing technical assistance for financial planners and their clients. She particularly enjoys the client side of the work, from writing technical reports and seeing the implementation of the recommendations as well as watching other members develop and progress in their careers.

With a Bachelor of Law Honours degree from Sheffield University, Sue is also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2012. Her professional qualifications include specialist pension, investment and taxation modules including the CII’s Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management.

Sue lives on the River Lune estuary near Lancaster with her partner and Eddie the Springer Spaniel. She enjoys walking, gardening (with a view to trying to improve their environment for wildlife), birdwatching, travel and is a season ticket holder at Blackburn Rovers along with her sister and brother.
